Fotothon is an interesting concoction of photography spanning over a time period
of 24 hours and effectively blending with a purpose of Environment Conservation.

One simple yet striking picture can be enough to inspire the whole country to stand up, act to save the planet and this picture could have been clicked by you. This Fotothon is to celebrate the beautiful nature we have around us and to make a commitment to care for the environment and safeguard it for the future. The theme for the contest is based strictly on topics of environment and nature.
Design Concept
Camera for a cause.
Isn't it amazing how the camera has seamlessly blended into our everyday lives? A handy tool of our times that can get us a thousand hearts for a sushi pic or save a thousand whales over single a click. Fotothon is all about using photography for great intent. The logo design features a hidden camera waiting to be spotted for its true potential. Once you see the camera for the right reasons you can't unseen it.
Attention nature lovers and photographers
We developed key visuals and poster designs to educate about this unique race. The design glorifies nature and photographer in a stunning double exposure style to intrigue the camera community and nature lovers in one shot.
Fotothon spotlight
Aarey Forest
This year's theme for Fotothon was against the development in Aarey Colony, an area of approximately 600 acres, as a reserved forest situated in the heart of Mumbai, India. A unique ecosystem acts as a buffer between Borivali National Park on the North and the bustling city on the other 3 sides. A mix of grassland and semi-deciduous forest, this ecosystem is under severe stress and threat from the development juggernaut. We created a campaign to highlight that the Aarey colony has an array of wildlife and several species of insects, butterflies, and birds, Aarey is not a colony but a forest. And we need all vigilantes, photographers and nature lovers to highlight it.
Social Media Countdown
Knowing that the creative people wake up last minute, we created a special one week countdown campaign as a reminder to register before the due date. Every day someone from the forest will come out to remind you of your responsibility towards the nature.
